In the latest report released by the United Nations, Norway has been declared the happiest country in the world. Last year, this honor was given to Denmark. According to this list, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, and Finland are the five happiest countries in the world, respectively. On the contrary, the African countries of the Sahara region in Central Africa are the most unhappy countries in the world.
In the 'World Happiness Report', Pakistan is ranked 80th, while India is 122nd and Afghanistan is 141st. Out of 155 countries, war-torn Syria is at 152nd, while Yemen and Sudan, which are facing famine-like conditions, are at 146th and 147th, respectively. The International Day of Happiness is celebrated by the United Nations on March 20, and this time, coincidentally, the list of the happiest countries has been released on the same day.
